Beach, swimming pool and animations

We have plenty of ideas for activities and leisure for the whole family.  We will gradually add the answers to questions we are often asked.  Meanwhile, you can take a look at our activities and news pages.

What entertainment is organised at Camping de la Plage ?

We have two priorities regarding entertainment : it must be adapted for families and must not disturb those who prefer a quieter holiday. Here you will find information on our activities, our team and the different periods throughout the season.

Is the pool supervised ?

Members of our staff supervise the pool and waterslides from the first week in July until the last weekend in August. Despite this supervision, parents are responsible for their children and must ensure that they do not go to the pool alone.

How far is the beach from the campsite ?

The nearest beach is located on the edge of the campsite.  Here is some information on other beaches in Trinité-sur-Mer and Carnac.

Is the beach lifeguarded ?

Every summer the town sets up a lifeguard station on the car park at Plage de Kervilen which is run by qualified lifeguards.

It comprises :

- to ensure bathers’ safety and to alert the necessary emergency services : pompiers (fire/emergency service), SMUR (mobile emergency service), CROSS (Regional Operational Centres for Monitoring and Rescue).

- intervention when necessary if someone is in difficulty within 300 metres of the beach.

Five qualified lifeguards work at the station everyday from 12pm to 7pm.

Contact head of the station : Tel. + 33 (0)2.97.30.12.93.

Is there disabled access to the beach ?

Kervillen and Men Du beaches offer disabled access. An wheelchair adapted for the beach is available to the public at the lifeguard station.

Are there toilets at the beach ?

Are the beaches cleaned ?

Is shellfish gathering permitted and/or underwater ?

Shellfish gathering on the beach and free diving is restricted. Free diving is permitted from the age of 16.  It is however forbidden in certain areas near the oyster farms or in a particularly dangerous area.

Certain species are protected, the number and size of the catch is limited and sometimes the fishing periods must respect the reproduction cycle (information available at the town hall).

The quality of the shellfish is controlled on each beach.
