Beaches in La Trinité sur Mer

Kervillen and the Men-Du : the most beautiful beaches...

The beaches at Kervillen and the Men Du both face the south. These are two large family beaches that host a beach club in July and August. They have nearby car parks and are equipped with showers and public toilets. In July and August, a free minibus, traveling across the town, can take you there.Dogs are not allowed on either of these beaches.

Direct acces to the Kervillen beach from the campsite

From Camping de La Plage campsite, you have direct access to this beautiful beach: it is protected from eastern winds by the Kerbihan point and is ideal for swimming whatever the tide, and in safety.

It is supervised during the summer and is accessible to people with reduced mobility; a floating wheelchair is available.

Feel like a cold drink or a cocktail in front of the sunset? You will enjoy our bar-restaurant overlooking the beach, with its breathtaking view over the Quiberon bay !

For children, the "Olympic Club Mickey" beach club offers many activities for the day or ½ day, from Monday to Saturday. Swimming lessons are provided in an indoor heated swimming pool. The club also has pedalboats to rent.

And if you are looking for more tranquility, it is possible to find wilder corners to lay your bath towel, on the edge of Kervillen's natural site of Kervillen. You just have to follow the coastal path for about 10 minutes from the car park...

Rock pool fishing : the Men-Du beach

Located on the border between Carnac and La Trinité, it is a sheltered beach.

At high tide, the water's shallow depth the younger ones to enjoy the joys of the sea. At low tide, it is an ideal site for rock pool fishing where it is possible to access an islet, Stuhan, for a short stroll via a sand bank.

For children, there is a beach club all summer: entertainment, trampolines, inflatable castle and swimming lessons. Dining options include a snack bar facing the beach.

The Poulbert : a picnic area in the shade

The Poulbert beach is in the direction of Carnac-Plage, between the beaches of kervillen and Men-Du.The interest of this place is the shaded pine forest where facilities are made available to picnickers. Attention : swimming can be dangerous!

Many small beaches between the harbour in La Trinité and the Kerbihan point

Plage du Port, Port Biren, Men Allen, Kerbihan, Grazu: along the coastal path a series of small, sandy beaches await you. These beaches follow one another, from the Kerbihan point to the harbour in La Trinité sur Mer. They face the East and offer a pretty view over the channel that connects the Crac'h river and the entrance to the Quiberon bay. These are special places to admire the sunrise as well as the coming and goingt of sailing yachts and famous multihull racing boats  which take the channel to sail in the Quiberon bay. These beaches can be a great alternative when the wind blows too hard on Kervillen beach. Bathing can be practiced on some of them in open sea. At low tide, they are a joy for rock pool fishing lovers especially Kerbihan beach, with ots many shells and shrimps. They are not under surveillance.

Ty Guard and the natural site at the Kerbihan point

Surrounded by the heathland and gorse bushes that make up this unspoiled place, Ty Guard beach owes its name to the house that is found on  the Kerbihan point (left side of the beach) which was used by Customs officers to monitor the Bay of La Trinité. Today it is a privatly-owned house. It is facing south and there is a shaded car park nearby. The beach on the right of it is made of sand. On the other hand, due to the rocks, access to the sea is difficult, especially at low tide. During major tides, the place is a prize location for rock pool fishing. It is an ideal place to follow the regattas and other nautical events that take place regularly in La Trinité sur Mer and in the Quiberon bay. Access to its various beaches can be done by car except for the beaches at the port, Port Biren, and Men Allen.
