In La Trinité-sur-Mer, the local citizens' committee and the town council have marked out 4 official walking trails, so you can discover the built heritage, the natural surroundings and the finest viewpoints in the area.
From the campsite, you have direct access to the customs officers' path, part of the GR34, the long-distance hiking trail that follows the Brittany coastline for 2,000 kilometres.
Lace up your shoes: your walk starts right at the campsite gate.

The 4 walking trails of La Trinité-sur-Mer

Beaches, natural areas and salt marshes on the GR34 (11 km)
- Distance: 11 km.
- Duration: 3h30.
Starting from the harbour, the trail follows the channel and the coastal path.
A highlight along the way: the Kerbihan headland, now a protected natural area, still bears traces of its history with the former customs officers' lookout, known as the maison des douaniers.
Enjoy panoramic views over the Bay of Quiberon, the Gulf of Morbihan, the Rhuys peninsula and the islands, before passing Kervillen beach and the salt marshes.
If you choose to start this hike at the campsite, it's easy: the Kervillen beach which borders the campsite is marked as point 8 of the circuit

The villages of yesteryear (7.5 km)
- Distance: 7.5 km with option of 3.9km
- Duration: 2h30.
Admire beautiful stone longhouses and typical Breton thatched cottages, along with old wash houses and fountains.
The route offers views over the salt marshes and the Kerdual inlet.
You can also join the trail at point 17 directly from the campsite, via the Kervillen salt marshes.
If you wish to leave from from the campsite on foot, choose the circuit with option and join on point 17 by crossing the natural protected site of the Kervillen salt marshes and the Poulbert woods.

La Trinité and the sea (4.5 km)
- Distance: 4.5 km.
- Duration: 50 minutes.
Follow the quays of the old fishing and trading harbour, then the pontoons of the marina. The route passes the fish market hall, the harbour master's office, the Kérisper bridge and the former oyster farming areas.
To join the port from the campsite : follow the river by taking the coastal path from the beach of Men Allen or Port Biren.

The lanes of the old town (2.5 km)
- Distance: 2.5 km.
- Duration: 1 hour.
Wandering through narrow streets and lanes, you'll discover old houses and former shops, the church, the fountain and the well. This trail can be reached from the coastal path via Men Allen beach or Port Biren.
Starting from the campsite : take the coastal path next to the beaches of Men Allen or Port Biren. It follows the river up to the port of La Trinité.

Which trail is best suited to a family with children?
The lanes of the old town trail (2.5 km, 1 hour) is the most family-friendly, with pedestrian streets and very little elevation.
Can you set off on foot directly from the campsite?
Yes. The campsite gives you direct access to the customs officers' path (GR34), which lets you join Trail 1 without a car, via the Kerbihan headland.
Where can I find the detailed route of the trails?
All 4 trails are available to download as PDFs, with the full route and points of interest.
Do I need special hiking boots?
Comfortable walking shoes are enough for all 4 trails, none of which is technical.
