What can you reach on foot or by bike from your pitch?
-
A sandy path leads from the campsite to the wide beach at Kervilen, which is lifeguarded in July and August and where low tide opens up a real stretch for gathering shellfish.
From there the coastal path sets off, part of the GR34: it follows the little beaches of the Kerbihan headland and reaches the port of La Trinité-sur-Mer, 1.5 km away, with its bustling quaysides and its market on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Keen on cycling? The nearest cycle path is 500 metres from the campsite, and the linking routes make for an easy ride to La Trinité-sur-Mer, Carnac and even the Quiberon peninsula.

Camping pitches in La Trinité-sur-Mer: your questions answered
-
What size is a camping pitch?
A standard pitch measures 90 to 110 m² and has room for up to six people. Camping de la Plage also has small pitches of 80 m² for four people and Premium pitches of 130 m² for six. Every pitch is screened by hedges or shrubs and comes with water, electricity and drainage.
Is electricity available on the pitches?
Yes, every pitch at Camping de la Plage has an electric hook-up. Bring a 25-metre cable and an international plug adapter: depending on where you pitch, the hook-up point can be several metres away. Electricity is shown in the rates table, as an extra on top of the pitch fee.
Are dogs allowed on the pitches?
Yes, up to three dogs per pitch, at €2 per dog per day. They must be kept on a lead within the campsite. There is an outdoor dog shower by the sanitary block, and waste bags at reception. Two beaches take dogs, 450 metres away, before 10am and after 7pm, from 1 April to 30 September.
Is the campsite quiet in the evening?
Yes. In July and August we put on a few evening events, but they stay family-friendly and finish by 11pm at the latest, so the campsite is quiet again by the end of the evening. The barrier closes to traffic at 10.30pm.
Do I need to book my pitch in advance?
Booking is recommended for a stay in July or August. For the rest of the season, from 2 May to 20 September, you can usually turn up and find a pitch. Reception is open every day from 9am to 7pm, and until 7.30pm in July and August.
