Are dogs and other animals welcome ?

Dogs are welcome at Camping de la Plage on camping pitches and in mobile homes (surcharge applies). A maximum of 3 dogs per pitch and 2 per mobile home. Maximum weight : No weight limit. Dangerous breeds (guard dogs) are not permitted.

Principles to be respected within the campsite grounds

Dogs and other animals must not be allowed to run freely, even on your pitch. They must not be left alone on the campsite, even locked up.  Their owner, who is responsible for them, must be with them at all times. For your comfort and that of your 4-legged friends, we provide dog waste bags and a dog shower is located near the shower block.

The beaches – Bans and tolerances

Please note that the town council have banned dogs on the majority of our beaches. However,  the reason for this is no doubt to prevent dog owners letting them run around and disturb bathers and a dog sitting quietly on a towel, who does not bark, will be tolerated. Thankfully, there are plenty of natural areas located near the campsite where you can walk your dogs.  Beware of wetlands where your dog could scare the birds.
