Hiking trails in La Trinité-sur-mer

The citizen committee of La Trinité in partnership with the townhall suggests 4 touristic hiking circuits at La Trinité sur Mer. Very accessible trails that will help you discover the heritage, the natural environment and the beautiful viewpoints all over the town. These 4 walks can be started from the campsite. At the campsite you have direct access to the coastal path, "le sentier des douaniers" which is part of the GR34 (the great trail hike that borders the Breton coast for 2000 kilometers).

Beaches, natural areas and salt marshes on the GR34

This walk from the port takes 3 hours and 30 minutes and starts along the channel that all boats and sailboats use to stop in La Trinité-sur-mer. It continues on the coastal path known as " le sentier des douaniers" : in the past, customs officers monitored and controlled maritime activities and salt transportation. The point of Kerbihan is today a protected natural area but it keeps the memory of this period of history with the presence of the old guardhouse called "La maison des douaniers". This former surveillance spot offers a magnificent panorama over the Quiberon bay: the entrance of the Gulf of Morbihan, the Rhuys peninsula, the islands : Houat, Hoedic, Belle-Ile and Méaban...After passing along the Kervillen beach where our campsite is located, you will cross several salt marsh sites including Kervillen, still in operation. This sensitive natural area allows the observation of many bird species.

  • Distance : 11 km

If you choose to start this hike at the campsite, it's easy: the Kervillen beach which borders the campsite is marked as point 8 of the circuit!
