Great News: A UNESCO World Heritage Site!
Since July 12, 2025, the Megaliths of Carnac and the shores of the Morbihan have been officially inscribed on the UNESCO list.
This is the very first site in Brittany to earn this prestigious global recognition.

Skedanoz 2026: Practical Information
- Dates: August 19, 20, 21, 25, 26 and 27, 2026.
- Times: Two shows each evening, at 10:00 PM and 10:45 PM.
- Duration: 35 minutes.
- Location: Menec alignments in Carnac (just a short drive or bike ride from the campsite).
- Price: €6 / free under 3 / €8 on-site from 9:30 PM (subject to availability).
- Tickets: Carnac Tourist Office or online booking from late July.

Guided tours: Throughout the summer, explore these remarkable archaeological sites with an expert guide, starting from the Maison des Mégalithes (visitor center next to the alignments). Special guided family tours and conference visits are available.
Self-guided: A walking trail lets you admire the alignments from outside, with partial wheelchair access.
Don’t miss: The Carnac Prehistory Museum, home to one of Europe’s richest prehistoric collections. The Maison des Mégalithes and the museum also offer activities, exhibitions, and workshops for families and children.

Carnac’s Little Tourist Train
Every Sunday, a guided train ride departs from the campsite entrance, taking you through the standing stones, Carnac beach, and to La Trinité-sur-Mer port.
- Departure: 7:30pm.
- Book at reception before 6:00pm.
- Fares: €8 per adult / €5 per child (3–12 years).
