CONDITIONS OF HIRE MOBILE-HOME
1) All bookings are made in the name of one specific tenant, and can under no circumstances be transferred to another.
2) Should your arrival be delayed, please inform us. In the absence of a written message or phone call from the tenant explaining that he has had to alter his arrival date, the accommodation will be freed 48 hours after the arrival date featured in the booking contract. Payment for the holiday is, in this case, still due to the campsite.
3) The full deposit (deposit plus booking fee) should be paid on receipt of the contracts, and returned to us with one copy of the contract. The deposit will be deducted from the total payment due, but will not be refunded by the campsite should cancellation occur less than 60 days before the expected date of arrival. The booking fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Cancellation insurance is available on request, with surcharge. Please see paragraph 5.
4) Hire of mobile-homes:
a) The mobile-home may be occupied from 4p.m. on the day of arrival, and should be vacated by 10a.m. on the day of departure.
b) The balance for the entire holiday should be paid 30 days before the date of arrival. Otherwise, the reservation will be cancelled. The tenant will not receive a letter of reminder. No reduction will be made in the case of late arrival or early departure.
c)The mobil-homes are hired out to a specific number of people. Any extra persons or dogs will be charged according to the price in use on the campsite.
d)The mobile-homes should be left in the same state of cleanliness as on arrival. Where this is not the case, the tenant will be asked to pay cleaning costs(see tariff). Any damage done to the accommodation or its equipment will be repaired immediately at the tenant’s cost. The inventory drawn up at the end of the holiday should correspond exactly to the one drawn up at the start: any missing items must be paid for by the tenant.
e) In line with article 4,paragraph d), a damages deposit (only accepted by credit card) is payable by the tenant on arrival. This will be returned after inspection of the accommodation, less any deduction necessary for repairs. This deposit does not represent the maximum sum a tenant may be asked to pay, should the cost of repairs be more.
5) If the client wishes to cancel, this must be done in writing within 3 days following the event, and sent by recorded delivery. In case of cancellation more than 8 weeks before the date of arrival, the deposit will be refunded; between 8 weeks and 30 days, the deposit will not be refunded; within 30 days of the arrival date, the outstanding payment remains due.
Optional cancellation insurance is available It covers the client for payments made ( these will be refunded ) or still due to the campsite in the following events: serious illness, or serious accident involving a member of the family, material damage to the client’s property, redundancy, accident involving or theft of the client’s vehicle occurring on the journey. Conditions are as follows: 20% of the total is refunded should cancellation occur between the date of reservation and the 30th day before the arrival date. 100% of the total is refunded should cancellation occur less than 30 days before the arrival date. 6) The tenant must be insured against civil liability.
7) In case of dispute, the trades tribunal in Lorient is solely competent.
BOOKING CONDITIONS CAMPSITE PLOT
1/ Arrival and departure: the sites are available from 2 p.m. on your day of arrival, and should be vacated at 12 a.m. on the day of departure.
2/ IMPORTANT: Please inform us in case of delay. Otherwise the site will be freed at 2 p.m. the day after your expected date of arrival, and your reservation will be cancelled.
3/ The deposit and reservation fee should be paid as soon as you receive the contracts, and one copy of the contracts should be returned to us. The deposit will be deducted from the overall cost of the holiday. In case of cancellation, the deposit will not be refunded, should the cancellation occur less than 30 days before the expected day of arrival. ( see paragraph 4/. ) Reservation fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
4a/The campsite should be informed of a cancellation in writing, by recorded delivery, within the 3 days following the event. Optional cancellation insurance is available on request. In case of cancellation less than 30 days before the date of arrival, or curtailment of any holiday commenced, this insurance will cover the client in the following events: serious illness, or serious accident involving a member of the family, material damage to the client’s property, redundancy, accident involving or theft of the client’s vehicle occurring on the journey. 4b/Any alteration in the dates of a holiday less than 30 days before the date of arrival) above will be charged to the customer.
5/ The balance due should be paid in advance, on arrival at the campsite, after inspection of the site and pitch. The balance is for the entire period booked, and for the number of persons specified.
6/ Extra nights or persons (visitors staying on the site for more than 4 hours) will be paid for on the day of departure.
7/ Any violation of these rules will lead to cancellation of the contracts.
1/ Conditions of Admission
To enter and pitch on a campsite, one must have the authorisation of the receptionist or the campsite owner. In staying at Camping de La Plage , the customer accepts the provisions of these regulations and agrees to conform to them. Any breach of these rules may lead to the expulsion of the person concerned, with recourse to the police if necessary.
2/ Police Formalities
Any person wishing to stay at least one night on the campsite must first present his passport to the receptionist, and complete registration forms.
The tent or caravan and all equipment must be installed on the plot indicated by the camp management. Departure is not possible before 8 a.m. Arrival is not possible after 10.30 p.m.
Open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. everyday even over a bank holiday. Information concerning the camp services, places to eat, sports facilities, local tourist attractions and useful addresses is available at reception. The telephone may be used according to the instructions displayed in the office.
Fees are paid at reception according to details set out in the booking contracts. The sum due is calculated from the tariffs displayed at the entrance to the campsite. Those staying on the campsite are requested to inform reception of their departure one day in advance.
6/ Noise and Silence
Those staying on the site are requested to avoid making any noise, or talking loudly, which may disturb their neighbours.
Radios, cassette-players, etc must therefore be played quietly. Car doors and boots should be closed as quietly as possible.
Dogs and other pets must never be left loose. They must also not be left on the campsite, even if shut in, in the absence of their owners, who are legally responsible for them.
Total silence must be maintained between 10.30 p.m. and 8.00 a.m.
Visitors may enter the campsite under the responsibility of the campers who invite them ,but should seek authorisation from the campsite owner or his representative before doing so. Visitors are asked to pay a fee .to cover the use of campsite facilities.
8/ Circulation and Parking of Vehicles
Within the campsite grounds, vehicles are limited to a maximum of 10 km/hour. Vehicles may not be driven on the campsite between 10.30 p.m. and 8.00 a.m. Only vehicles belonging to resident campers may be driven on the sites. Cars must be parked in such a way as not to impede traffic or to prevent the installation of new arrivals.
9/ Condition and Appearance of the Campsite
All campers must refrain from any action which may be detrimental to the tidiness, cleanliness or appearance of the site.
Dirty water must not be emptied onto the ground or into the gutters. Domestic waste and all rubbish, including paper, must be disposed of in the dustbins provided. These must not be removed from the area reserved for them.
Clothes washing is not permitted except in the sinks provided. Washing may be hung out near tents and caravans, provided that this is done discreetly and does not inconvenience neighbours. Washing lines must not be attached to trees
Plants and flower beds must be treated with respect. It is forbidden to knock nails into the trees, to cut branches or to plant anything on the campsite. It is also forbidden to mark the limits of one’s plot in a personal way or to dig up the ground.
a) Fire: Open fires and individual charcoal barbecues are strictly forbidden. A permanent barbecue is provided for the use of campers. Individual gas and electric barbecues are allowed.
Fire extinguishers are provided for the use of all. In case of fire, inform the camp management immediately. A first aid box is situated in the reception office.
b) Electricity: All electrical connections must be earthed.
c) Theft: The camp management is responsible for property left in the office.(Safety deposit boxes ) must keep the site under surveillance The receptionist should immediately be informed of the presence on the campsite of any suspicious person. However, campers are responsible for the own equipment and should take the usual precautions for the safety of their property.
Violent or obtrusive games may not be organised close to or inside the campsite buildings. Games (ball games, boules or racquet games) which may hinder traffic are forbidden on the campsite roads.
12/ “Garage Mort”
No unoccupied tent or caravan may be left on the site, or stored there.
13/ Campsite Manager
He is responsible for the order and tidiness of the site. He is obliged to deal with serious breaches of the regulations and, if necessary, to ask those responsible to leave.
14/ Campsite Owner The campsite management declines all responsibility for any water or power cuts (not attributable to campsite installations), flooding of installations due to storms, or damage to tents and caravans due to lightning, high winds or sap or resin from trees.
