Skedanoz: The Sparkling Nights of the Megaliths
Experience an unforgettable evening at dusk in Carnac, a place steeped in history! Discover a stunning sound-and-light show amidst the famous standing stones (“menhirs”) for several nights in August 2025:
- Dates: 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, and 27 August
- Two showings each evening at 10:00pm and 10:45pm
- Duration: 35 minutes
- Price: €6 (free for children under 3)
- Tickets: Carnac Tourist Office or or online ticket office.
Onsite: Same-day tickets (subject to availability) are sold for €8 from 9:30pm. Seats are limited—booking is recommended! The event takes place at the Ménec alignment site, only a 20-minute bike ride away!

- Guided tours: Throughout the summer, explore these remarkable archaeological sites with an expert guide, starting from the Maison des Mégalithes (visitor center next to the alignments). Special guided family tours and conference visits are available.
- Self-guided: A walking trail lets you admire the alignments from outside, with partial wheelchair access.
- Don’t miss: The Carnac Prehistory Museum, home to one of Europe’s richest prehistoric collections. The Maison des Mégalithes and the museum also offer activities, exhibitions, and workshops for families and children.
Carnac’s Little Tourist Train

Every Sunday, a guided train ride departs from the campsite entrance, taking you through the standing stones, Carnac beach, and to La Trinité-sur-Mer port. Departure: 7:30pm. Book at reception before 6:00pm. Fares: €8 per adult / €5 per child (3–12 years).
