Accommodation description

The Coco Sweet sits somewhere in between: more comfortable than a tent, closer to nature than a mobile home. Canvas and wood, sturdy and well insulated, with a modern, thoughtfully designed interior full of light: the true lodge spirit.

 

Under the awning, the terrace is almost as big as the inside. Breakfast, a spot of reading, dinner in the evening: it welcomes it all, sheltered from sun and rain alike.

 

The sleeping areas: a parents' bedroom and a living area with sofa beds that convert into a children's room with 2 single beds, each closed off at night by blackout curtains.

 

Inside, the kitchen corner brings together a fridge, a microwave and everything you need for the essentials, with handy storage throughout the living space.

 

One thing to know before booking: the accommodation has no private bathroom, but the campsite's shower blocks are just steps away, the trade-off of a true stay under canvas.

 

The eco-friendly touch: the Coco Sweet, designed by Bio Habitat using recyclable materials, reflects our campsite's commitment to sustainable tourism.

Equipment and options

The bedrooms

 

  • Parents' bedroom: a 140 x 190 cm double bed, Bultex mattress, bedside table, large mirror, four-shelf storage unit.
  • Second bedroom: two single 80 x 190 cm beds, which can be pushed together.
  • A space for a cot is provided in the parents' bedroom.
  • Blackout blind and pendant light in each bedroom.
  • Blankets and pillows provided. Bed linen and towels available to rent.
  • Blackout curtains on a rail dividing the room from the living area.

 

The living area, lounge and kitchen

 

  • Dining corner: a table and four stools.
  • Kitchen corner: fridge, electric hob, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster. No sink, but a shower block is close by.
  • Crockery and utensils provided.
  • Storage space.

 

  • Comfort: good roof and wall insulation, LED lighting, electric heater for cooler evenings.

 

  • Outside: a 13.9 m² terrace under an awning, with decking and garden furniture.

 

  • No private bathroom. The campsite's shower blocks are close by, with family cubicles, accessible cubicles and a baby-changing area.

 

  • Pets: dogs welcome, two maximum, 3 euros per day supplement.

 

  • No TV point.

 

  • Wifi available (paid).
  • Housekeeping package available on request.
  • Electricity included.
  • Public liability insurance required.

      • Does the Coco Sweet have a bathroom?

        No, the accommodation has no private bathroom. Camping de la Plage's two shower blocks are just steps away, with family cubicles, accessible cubicles and a baby-changing area.

        Can the Coco Sweet be booked outside summer?

        Yes. The insulation and electric heater mean the Coco Sweet can be booked in the low season.

        Are dogs allowed in the Coco Sweet?

        Yes, dogs are welcome, up to two, with a 3 euro per day supplement. From April to September, two beaches a 5-minute walk from the campsite allow dogs, before 10am and after 7pm.

        How do you cook in the Coco Sweet?

        The Coco Sweet's kitchen corner has an electric hob, a microwave, a kettle, a coffee maker, a fridge and crockery. The Kervilen grocery-bakery, 150 metres away, supplies bread and fresh produce.

        What's the difference between the Coco Sweet and a mobile home?

        The Coco Sweet is a canvas-and-wood bungalow, more compact but with the insulation and sturdiness of a mobile home. It has no private bathroom and its kitchen covers just the essentials. In exchange, it's Camping de la Plage's most affordable rental option.
