Megaliths in Celebration — September 19th to 21st

 

It’s official: the megaliths of Carnac and the shores of Morbihan are now part of UNESCO's World Heritage. To mark this special occasion, South Morbihan comes alive for a festive weekend!

Our campsite is the ideal starting point to enjoy all these events—just minutes from Carnac and the Gulf of Morbihan!

 

On the program:

Drone shows, outdoor concerts, artistic performances, guided tours, discovery trails and activities suitable for every age group.

 

Where and when?

  • Friday, September 19: Cairn de Petit Mont in Arzon

 

  • Saturday, September 20: At the foot of the Tumulus Saint-Michel in Carnac

 

  • Sunday, September 21: Across many towns in South Morbihan: Arzon, Belz, Camors, Carnac, Erdeven, Locmariaquer, Île-aux-Moines, Plouharnel, Pluneret, Sarzeau, Saint-Pierre-Quiberon.

 

Discover the megalith sites with special circuits:

  • On land: walk, cycle, or try a Segway—over 30 guided or self-guided circuits to explore the alignments and sites.

 

  • On the water: boat cruises, kayak or paddle trips from Auray, Saint-Philibert, Baden, Larmor-Baden.

 

  • In the air: hot air balloon flights over Carnac’s famous alignments.
