A campsite near the Quiberon Bay…

You could say that the Quiberon peninsula plunges into the Atlantic ocean

As much as the rugged west coast deserves its name “the wild coast”, the rest of the shore is lined with fantastic sandy beaches around which the coastal town of Quiberon has developed.

Quiberon is also steeped in historic heritage, some of which dates back thousands of years.  It is also renowned for its gourmet heritage with its “Niniches” and chocolate industries and is the departure point for visiting the islands of Houat, Hoëdic and Belle-Il.
