Spi Ouest France - la Trinité sur Mer
During the Easter weekend, more than 3000 sailors and sailing aficionados meet up in La Trinité sur Mer for the Spi Ouest France.
This great regatta brings together professional skippers and amateurs who compete in Quiberon Bay for 4 days.
Nearly 500 monohulls and multihulls participate in the event and offer an impressive spectacle both on the water and ashore when returning to port at the end of the day.
The Spi Ouest France village, set up on the quayside, allows people to follow the race and offers much choice of entertainment.
Rando du muguet (Lily of the valley hike) - mountain bike and on foot - Crac'h
Two pedestrian circuits (11 and 14 km) and three mountain bike trails (13, 26 and 40 km) are offered for this annual hike organized at the end of April-beginning of May.
The authorized access to private roads for the occasion also allows hikers and cyclistss to admire beautiful views of the Auray and Crac'h rivers and discover the heritage of these three town.
The hike is organized by the ACC56-Les Vieux Métiers association.
Tour de Belle-Île - la Trinité sur Mer
For this one-day regatta, a single 3 km long starting line for 400 boats in Quiberon Bay!
Open to all monohull and multihull sailboats from 6 meters long onwards, the Tour de Belle-Ile brings together amateur racers and big names in the sailing race comunity.
The route goes round Belle-Ile en Mer and passes by its many magnificent natural sites.
The 3000 participants meet at night on the quayside of La Trinité sur Mer in a festive and friendly atmosphere for the traditional evening celebration of the Tour de Belle-Île.
Ar Men Race - La Trinité sur Mer
Taking place during the Ascension weekend, the Ar Men Race is a non-stop race in open waters composed of both saling amateurs and professionals.
The crews make their way to the Ar Men lighthouse located on the tip of Finistère.
They then set sail for the Ile d'Yeu before returning to port in La Trinité sur Mer.

Swimrun - Quiberon Bay
Swimrun, what's that?
It is a Swedish sport that combines swimming and running and is practiced in pairs.
Two courses of 30 and 12 km long are offered to participants who alternate running on the coastal path and swimming in Quiberon Bay.
The departure is from Quiberon or Saint-Pierre Quiberon depending on the route chosen. The arrival takes place on the Poulbert site in La Trinité sur Mer.
Organized by the Mouettes Sportives Trinitaines association.
Morbihan Paddle Trophy - Auray River
The Morbihan Paddle Trophy attracts more and more paddle-loving participants every year.
Over two days, stand-up paddle first-time initiations, strolls and competitions take place in the magnificent setting of the Gulf of Morbihan and the Auray River.
The different courses lead competitors and participants, from Saint-Goustan in Auray, to the port of Le Bono, Vannes, Port Navalo and between the islands of the Gulf of Morbihan.
A beautiful nautical event that can be followed from the coastal paths and ports.
Ça cartonne - La Trinité sur Mer
To compete in this open to all regatta, it's simple: build a boat out of cardboard, find a crew and be ready to battle it out with your opponents!

The sailing races of Ça Cartonne take place in the old port of La Trinité sur Mer under the eyes of a public that grows in number each year.

Ultra Marin Raid - Golfe of Morbihan
The Ultra Marin Raid includes several pedestrian races, trails and Nordic walking, largely on trails and coastal paths all around the Gulf of Morbihan, in an exceptional natural environment.
No less than 16 towns are crossed by runners from the Rhuys peninsula to the tip of Locmariaquer.
The biggest pedestrian circuit, the "Grand Raid" is a 177 km course, and all the races are realized in a single step, by day and by night.
The Ultra Marin Raid is, of course, aimed at trained and experienced trailers and walkers ...

Beach-volley tournament - La Trinité sur Mer
Open to all, this sporting event is organized by the Pays d'Auray Volleyball.
For one weekend, there are parents / childs tournaments, demonstrations and 3-people team tournaments (for boys and girls).
This big annual beach volleyball tournament takes place on the Men Du beach, between La Trinité sur Mer and Carnac.

Jousting on the River Loch - Auray
For nearly fifteen years, the Kiwanis Club has been organizing major water jousts on the River Loch in Auray at the end of July.
All day, the (dressed-up!) crews from about twenty different towns clash in the port of Saint Goustan, encouraged by thousands of spectators.
Thanks to sponsors' donations, this sports event raises funds for actions in favor of children.
The recipe for the success of the event? Good mood, sport, friendliness and solidarity!

Jumping du Poulbert - La Trinité sur Mer
A very popular event in the Breton horse-riding comunity, it takes place in the middle of August, on the natural site of Le Poulbert.
Three to four days of equestrian competition, nearly a thousand amateur and professional riders: the "Jumping du Poulbert" is one of the biggest obstacle competitions in Brittany.

At the end of the summer, this is the rendezvous for fans of large sailing boats designed for racing out at sea.
The "Trophée des multicoques", in La Trinité sur Mer, brings together the largest trimarans and catamarans for regattas in Quiberon Bay but also off the Morbihan islands: Belle-Ile, Houat, Hoëdic and Groix.

Triathlon - Quiberon
The annual edition of the Quiberon triathlons takes place at the beginning of September, over a weekend.
The various events, swimming, cycling and running, start from the big main beach with no less than 5 courses for young triathletes and senior men-women.
For a few years now, it's an official event of the French championships.
