International Celtic Festival
It is THE event for fans of Breton and Celtic culture. In August, it brings together thousands of dancers, singers, musicians from around the world to celebrate the Celtic nations. Concerts, parades and shows punctuate the 10 days of the Interceltic Festival in the city of Lorient. Don't miss the Great Parade of the Celtic nations which closes the event. More than 3000 artists, dancers and musicians, parade through the streets of Lorient with traditional costumes and traditional musical instruments.

Fête de l'huître - Locmariaquer
This annual celebration takes place during the second half of August in the port of Locmariaquer, the "Oyster City". For gourmets, oysters from local oyster farmers can be tasted throughout the day. For fans of Breton culture, sea shanties, traditional music and dances are also on the menu of these festivities. Do not miss: the oyster opening contest and the big fest-noz (night time Breton music festival), which lasts until late at night ...It is a beautiful immersion in tradition, that can be lived to the fullest !

Lumiliz - Carnac
All summer, at nightfall, a great audiovisual projection show on the Saint Cornély church in Carnac. Learn of the story of Saint Cornély who, as the legend goes, turned a legion of Roman soldiers into stone statues ... thus becoming Carnac's famous standing stones...Lumiliz, an original show full of fantasy, to experience with the whole family.

Skedanoz - Carnac
Skedanoz, the nights of the megaliths, take place in the unique archaeological site of the Carnac standing stones alignments, 7000 years old and containing nearly 4000 menhirs. The standing stones near the village of Le Ménec are put on display at night, through a sound and light show where historical and legendary tales mix.These magical evenings are an invitation to discover the our region's distant past in a different way ...

Galettes du Monde - Ste Anne d'Auray
Taking place the last weekend of August, this is a festive event that combines music, craftsmanship and gastronomy at Sainte Anne d'Auray! The idea behind Les Galettes du Monde Festival ? to discover the culture of countries from around the world through the astonishing variety of their pancake recipes. A great moment of exchange, sharing and cultural discovery with, in addition, a whole musical program, folk songs and dances as well as local crafts.

Détour d'Art - Auray
As in all of Brittany, the religious heritage is very important in Morbihan: festivals and processions, chapels and churches, fountains and calvaries ... To discover sacred architecture, the Auray County organizes each year from July to mid-September, the "Détour d'Art" event during which the chapels of the Alréan countryside open their doors and reveal all their richness . Guided or free tours are organized in more than 20 monuments.

Mor Braz Photography Festival - Quiberon bay
From mid-June to the end of October, several towns in the Quiberon Bay area take part in Escales Photos, a free and open-air exhibition. The history that links the people of Morbihan to the sea is told through large format photo reports, installed in the town streets and are set up in the form of photographic routes. The exhibition places are to be found in Plouharnel, Locmariaquer and on the islands of Quiberon Bay (Belle-Ile en Mer and Houat).

Photography Festival in La Gacilly
From June to November, the village of La Gacilly organizes an outdoor photography festival which brings together more than 300,000 visitors each year. The walls of homes, streets and gardens become art galleries with hundreds of large-format photographs signed by renowned photographers.
